We are looking for an Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. If you have strong AR expertise, experience with trade spend management and wholesale invoicing, and familiarity with EDI systems and vendor portals, this is an opportunity to make an impact in a fast-growing company.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Accounts Receivable Management (Primary Focus)
- Oversee AR processes in QuickBooks Online and Shopify
- Manage Net 30 terms, follow up on overdue invoices, and optimize collections
- Generate aging reports, monitor customer balances, and manage trade spend & co-op funds
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve discrepancies
- Ensure accurate application of promotional allowances, rebates, and co-op funds
- Assist the CFO in optimizing cash flow and collections
Accounts Payable & Trade Spend Management
- Process vendor invoices and payments accurately and on time
- Maintain AP records and assist with monthly reconciliations
- Track trade spend, co-op funds, and promotional discounts, ensuring compliance
- Work with sales and marketing to correctly apply promotional allowances
- Investigate and resolve invoice, payment, and trade spend discrepancies
Reporting & Relationship Management
- Generate aging reports and provide insights into customer payment trends
- Assist with month-end closing, ensuring all AR and AP transactions are recorded
- Serve as the primary contact for customers and vendors
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bookkeeping diploma, certification, or relevant coursework (e.g., CPB Canada or equivalent)
- Three or more years of experience in accounts receivable and payable
- QuickBooks Online experience (mandatory)
- Experience with trade spend and co-op fund management (preferred)
- Familiarity with Shopify, ERP systems, and EDI processing (an asset)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excels in a fast-moving environment, strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in CPG, retail, or the supplement industry (a plus)

COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $55,000 - $62,000 per year, commensurate with experience
- Performance Bonuses: Based on company and individual KPIs
- Total Compensation Package Includes: Extended health benefits, RRSP matching, and more
