POSITION: Strategic Account Manager

LOCATION: Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary

As our Strategic Account Manager, you will maintain, nurture, and develop and grow relationships strategically with our Canadian and US wholesale accounts. You are a self-motivated, dedicated achiever who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with a performance driven team. You will provide first-class product knowledge and strategic marketing advice to our valued retail partners. This opportunity requires a candidate that possess extensive B2B sales experience in a related industry and the ability to generate business leads. The role is open to candidates Vancouver, B.C. and remotely to candidates in Toronto, Ontario, and Calgary, Alberta.

  • National sales of withinUs products, introduction of new items, maintenance of current accounts & development of new accounts
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a long-term business relationship with buyers, field managers, and other key managers as deemed appropriate
  • Develop and implement client relationship management strategies
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
  • Effectively manage customer budgets / promotions on a consistent basis
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets by developing and executing on measurable sales processes that drive revenue. Iterate on existing sales process and develop new strategies to optimize and improve sales cycle and conversion metrics
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the sales pipeline, revenue, and sales cycle length
  • Coordinate with marketing team to ensure effective plans are developed and executed and measure the effectiveness of such programs


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of strategic account management experience
  • Experience in the Natural Health Product Industry an asset
  • Strong negotiation skills are a key to success in this role
  • Proven track record of delivering strong sales results and performance versus goals/targets
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Shopify
  • In-depth knowledge of client relationship management strategies
  • Extensive experience in B2B sales in a related industry
  • PO management software knowledge an asset (i.e., EDI systems & IMS)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional leader, self-motivated with great problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English (French is an asset)
  • Excellent organizational, and time-management skills
  • Passion for health, wellness, and fitness
  • The ability to effectively intermingle with a wide variety of business professionals is essential
  • All prospective employees must pass a background check
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License and have access to a well-maintained vehicle
