IT'S EASY - PREPARING TRUORGANIC™ MATCHA
New to matcha? That's OK! It's so easy to prepare the perfect cup.
Traditionally, matcha is made in a bowl, using a bamboo spoon for measuring and whisk for mixing. In our experience, TruOrganic™ Matcha tastes delicious when prepared with these tools, but you can use alternatives such as an electric frother to mix your TruOrganic™ Matcha.
OUR FAVOURITE TRADITIONAL TRUORGANIC™ MATCHA RECIPE
Step 1: Using the bamboo spoon, pour two scoops (1 tsp) of TruOrganic™ Matcha into a bowl.
Step 2: Pour approximately 60 ml (2 oz) of hot water into the bowl - the water should be just under a boil. If it is too hot, it will scorch the matcha and leave a slightly bitter flavour.
Step 3: Combine the water and TruOrganic™ Matcha using the bamboo whisk. First, use the middle prongs to rid of matcha clumps. Then, whisk the matcha rapidly in a 'W' or 'M' motion until bubbles start to form and a thin layer of froth appears on top.
Step 4: Add up to 100 additional millilitres (6 ounces) of hot (not boiling) water. The amount of water that you add will depend on the preferred strength.
Step 5: Pour the TruOrganic™ Matcha from the bowl into your favourite mug.
Step 6: Sip and enjoy
