October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Canadian women, and touches the lives of so many families every day.

It is a cause that is near and dear to the hearts of the TruMarine Team, and is the reason we started our ‘withinUs To Give’ campaign.

As a local business, we believe it is important to be active within our community, and we are honoured to support worthy causes whenever possible. Our ‘withinUs To Give’ campaign ensures that a portion of all our sales are donated to Breast Cancer Research in support of finding a cure.

Each year, we donate to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s CIBC Run for the Cure. This volunteer-led event has over 100,000 participants. Throughout Canada, Run for the Cure is an event that brings together an incredible, inspiring group of people that have a personal connection with breast cancer and, like us, want to show their support for this important cause.

Our withinUs to give campaign ensures that a portion of all sales is donated to the CBCF in support of finding a cure.

In addition to breast cancer research we are proud to support CKNW Orphan’s Fund - Pink Shirt Day, One Girl Can, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and the BCSPCA

The CKNW Orphan’s Fund - Pink Shirt Day campaign encourages everyone to practice kindness help raise awareness for bullying. Bullying is a major problem in schools, workplaces, homes and over the Internet. Over the month of February CKNW aims to raise awareness of these issues through various initiatives, including the ‘Pink Shirt Day’ campaign.

One Girl Can is a Vancouver based charity that provides educational opportunities to impoverished girls living in sub-Saharan African communities. This amazing charity not only helps build schools for these girls, but also funds scholarships and provides mentorship in secondary school through post-secondary.

The Ronald McDonald House Charity focuses on providing housing for seriously ill children and their families when they have to travel to Vancouver for their child’s medical treatment. We are delighted to be a part of this wonderful charity that helps families stay together and comfortable through their toughest times.

The BCSPCA Paws for a Cause is a yearly event where animals, along with their humans, walk in solidarity to help raise awareness for animal cruelty. Each year, members of the TruMarine Team take part in this fantastic event with our furry friends, and walk - for the love of animals.

We want to thank each and every one of our loyal customers and supportive retailers. Every single purchase of withinUs TruMarine™ Collagen, goes to helping our local business, which in turns helps our economy by providing and creating jobs.
Thank you for helping us make a difference by supporting these local charities.

Tru-ly Grateful,

TruMarine Team
